Non-Collection

In the event of your cat not being collected within 7 days of the agreed departure date (unless otherwise advised) we reserve the right to rehouse your cat.

Belongings

All belongings left at Lombard Tree are done entirely at the client’s risk.

Damage to Property

If your cat causes damage to our fixtures, fittings, or property you will be invoiced the cost of replacement or repairs.

Cats Sharing Cattery

When 2 or more cats from the same household are housed together at the client’s request, this is done so at the client’s risk. We reserve the right to separate them if we feel this is necessary and any additional costs incurred will be charged to the client.

Veterinary Treatment

In the event that we deem that your cat requires veterinary treatment or a check, we will either contact the client’s vet or our own approved vet.

Out of hours we will use an emergency vet service.

Our travel costs and any veterinary charges will be added to your invoice. If this is not related to a pre-existing condition, we will forward a claim to Pet Plan Insurance.

Pet Plan Insurance

All cats are covered whilst staying at Lombard Tree for veterinary fees, accidents, and illness up to the value of £1500. This cover excludes pre-existing conditions prior to boarding, all cats must be fit, healthy, and in good condition upon arrival.

Flea, Lice, Tick, and Worm Treatment

We advise all customers to worm and flea treat their cats within 1 week prior to boarding for their own well-being. If there is evidence of fleas, lice, ticks or worms whilst they are staying with us, we will contact your vets to arrange treatment. The cost of any treatment will be invoiced to the client.

Vaccination and Health

Animals are boarded at the sole risk of their owners and whilst every care will be taken, we cannot be held liable for illness, injury, or the death of any animal within our care.

An up-to-date vaccination record must be shown before your cats are allowed into the cattery. Primary vaccinations need to be completed at least 2 weeks prior to the start of boarding.

Homeopathic vaccination is not acceptable.

Cats need to be covered for:

  • Feline parvovirus (feline infectious enteritis)

  • Feline panleukopenia

  • Feline respiratory viruses ( feline herpes virus and feline calici virus)

Opening Times

Viewings, drop off and collections can only be made within our opening hours. Outside of these hours, you will not be attended.

We are closed for drop off, pick up and viewings on all Bank Holidays (including Christmas Day and Boxing Day). On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, we are only open between 9.00am - 10.30am.

Cancellations / Alterations to Bookings

A non-refundable deposit of £25 is required for all bookings which will be deducted from the final bill. Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the start of bookings, otherwise, you will be invoiced in full for the daily rate of any days that cannot be rebooked. If cats are collected early you will be invoiced for the full duration of the booking.
